What you will do

• Design, architect, and implement modern, secure, cloud-native data platforms on Azure.
• Build the underlying infrastructure that makes data accessible for a new wave of data-powered apps and GenAI services.
• Move beyond traditional ETL processes.

Requirements

• Professional Experience: 8+ years in IT, with extensive hands-on experience building modern cloud data platforms and infrastructure.
• Cloud Expertise (Azure): Deep knowledge of the Azure ecosystem (Azure Data Lake Storage, KeyVault, Azure Monitor, Networking).
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Advanced proficiency with Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
• Containerisation & Orchestration: Strong practical experience with Docker and AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service).
• CI/CD & DevSecOps: Mastery of Azure DevOps (pipelines, releases).
• Programming: proficiency in Python for scripting, automation and glue code.
• Strong communication skills and fluent English.

Nice to have

• AI/ML Infrastructure: Experience setting up infrastructure for Azure ML, MLOps practices or deploying models on AKS.
• GenAI & LLMs: Familiarity with Large Language Models (OpenAI/Azure OpenAI), Vector Databases or RAG architectures.
• Certifications: Active Azure certifications (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Data Engineer Associate).
• Consultancy experience: Previous experience gained in mid-size/large international client-facing environments.
