What you will do

• Set up and maintain CI/CD processes using GitHub Actions
• Configure and operate monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Alertmanager
• Administer MySQL databases including replication, backups, and optimization
• Operate Kafka clusters including topics, producers/consumers, and monitoring
• Automate infrastructure with Ansible and manage VPN/proxy servers
• Deploy and maintain Go services on Linux mini-PCs and Mac Minis, monitor their health and performance

Requirements

• Must be able to work in Cyprus or relocate there
• Proven experience with GitHub Actions, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Kafka
• Experience in administering MySQL and container orchestration with Kubernetes
• Strong Linux and macOS server administration skills
• Experience with Ansible, Docker, VPN configuration, and Go service deployment
• English proficiency at least B2 level

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform and distributed tracing systems like Jaeger or OpenTelemetry
• Knowledge of networking protocols and troubleshooting tools
• Experience administering PostgreSQL and Redis
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices such as blue-green and canary deployments
• Collaboration experience with developers for deployment and troubleshooting
