What you will do

• Maintain, design, extend, and improve robust and scalable data pipelines.
• Work with technologies including Java (Spring) microservices, Airflow, AWS, SQL, and shell scripting.
• Collaborate with operations to build and maintain cloud infrastructure in AWS.
• Regularly collaborate with business partners on priorities while maintaining alignment with architectural and security standards.
• Support the Tech Lead and more junior engineers, providing code reviews and giving guidance.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of strong commercial software engineering experience delivering server-side applications.
• Excellent programming skills with Java and Python.
• Experience with Java 17+, Spring, AWS, XML parsing, and SQL.
• Advocate for best practices for rapid development of quality software, including clean code, architectural design patterns, and CI/CD.
• Comfortable learning new technologies, languages, and tools on the job.
• Inclusive, positive, and collaborative mindset with a desire to deliver real business value.

Nice to have

• Experience with large-scale, content management systems and big data.
• Experience with ETL, Oracle/MySQL DB, Python, Airflow.
