What you will do

• Maintain, design, and improve robust and scalable ETL pipelines and backend services following best software engineering practices.
• Work with Java (Spring) microservices, Airflow, AWS, SQL, shell scripting, git, GitHub Actions, and SFTP.
• Collaborate with operations to build and maintain cloud infrastructure and automate tasks.
• Engage with business partners to align priorities with architectural and security standards.
• Support team members through code reviews and contribute to planning and execution of tasks.

Requirements

• Must have 1-2 years of commercial software engineering experience delivering server-side applications.
• Experience with Java 17+ or Spring framework.
• Experience with databases and CI/CD practices.
• Comfortable learning new technologies and tools on the job.
• An inclusive, collaborative mindset focused on delivering business value.

Nice to have

• Experience with large-scale content management systems and big data.
• Experience with ETL, Oracle/MySQL databases, Python, and Airflow.
