What you will do

  • Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts, including sales, software licenses, and SaaS agreements.
  • Collaborate with sales and other stakeholders to close deals with customers and partners, managing multiple high-priority transactions.
  • Develop and negotiate agreements for partner programs, including Reseller, Distribution, and Teaming agreements.
  • Adapt existing contracts and draft new documentation to reflect changes in services, products, or commercial relationships.
  • Develop and provide training to internal teams on key legal issues, contract management, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Proactively identify and address potential legal risks, providing strategic solutions and supporting operational efficiency improvements.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of post-qualification legal experience (PQE), with a strong focus on commercial contracts, particularly in the SaaS and cloud services industry.
  • Licensed to practice law in the UK.
  • Experience negotiating complex enterprise-level contracts, with a strong understanding of various licensing models.
  • Proven ability to work closely with sales teams in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
  • Working knowledge of global privacy and data protection regulations, including experience handling customer security questionnaires and negotiating Data Processing Agreements (DPAs).
  • Exceptional communication and drafting skills, with attention to detail.
