TL;DR

Account Executive (Fintech): Spearheading expansion within the Legal and Property sectors by identifying, prospecting, and closing new business opportunities for an anti-fraud platform, while also managing strategic existing clients. Focus on consulting with firms to mitigate risk, solve complex compliance challenges, and ensure long-term retention and expansion.

Location: Hybrid in London or Manchester, United Kingdom, with a requirement to join the office twice a week.

Salary: £40,000–£60,000 p.a. base salary

What you will do

  • Own the full sales cycle, identifying, prospecting, and closing new business opportunities while maintaining a healthy, self-generated pipeline.
  • Consult with firms to demonstrate how the platform mitigates risk, solves complex business hurdles, and enhances their bottom line.
  • Manage a dedicated book of strategic existing clients, ensuring long-term retention and uncovering expansion opportunities.
  • Build C-suite and Partner-level relationships, positioning yourself as an indispensable partner in digital transformation.
  • Work towards an annual target of £775,000, combining new business in signed ACV and upselling existing accounts.
  • Self-generate over £500,000 worth of new business opportunities through industry relationships and prospecting.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in a New Business sales closing role with a successful track record of over performing against target.
  • Proven experience in both winning new business and managing & growing existing accounts.
  • Experience selling to Law Firms and Financial Services.
  • Experience working on deals worth at least £20,000 annual contract value.
  • Proficiency in managing a pipeline of opportunities using Salesforce or a comparable CRM.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
