Salary: $180,000 - $220,000 USD base salary

What you will do

• Design and build scalable, well-abstracted APIs, libraries, and services for an API-first crypto platform
• Own features from inception to deployment and customer integration
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and ship new features
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code ensuring performance and quality
• Identify and fix bottlenecks and bugs
• Mentor peers through code reviews and best practices education

Requirements

• Must be located onsite in New York City
• At least 6 years of backend/server-side development experience
• Strong skills in TypeScript, Node.js, Express, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and JVM languages (Kotlin or Java)
• Experience with RESTful API design, microservices, unit and functional testing
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical discipline
• Understanding and strong interest in cryptocurrencies and blockchain

Nice to have

• Experience developing consumer-facing crypto products and public-facing APIs
• Familiarity with Spring framework and full-stack development including React
• Experience with digital wallets, clearing and settlement, lending, trading, or accounting systems
