What you will do

• Partner with delivery and executive stakeholders to scope, design, and lead AI-driven solution implementations
• Identify and transform ambiguous workflows into repeatable AI systems
• Lead architecture design balancing performance, scalability, cost, and reliability
• Own projects from discovery through deployment, including client-facing delivery and internal coordination
• Build shared infrastructure, reusable components, and internal playbooks
• Coach and mentor mid-level engineers and shape the AI engineering culture

Requirements

• Active U.S. Department of War Secret Clearance or higher required
• Must be based in or authorized to work in the U.S. with ability to travel 25–50% across North America
• 5+ years software engineering experience with backend, data, or ML systems
• Proficiency in Python and ML/LLM frameworks including Hugging Face, LangChain, OpenAI, Pinecone
• Experience with deployment and infrastructure tools: Docker, FastAPI, Kubernetes, GCP, AWS
• Strong product and system design skills with client-facing communication experience
