What you will do
- Execute daily service deliverables for financial instrument data collection, composition, control, and distribution according to client SLAs.
- Conduct all quality checks, strictly adhere to existing runbooks, and perform initial data analysis in case of unexpected data behavior.
- Resolve client data questions, service requests, and audit support in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform necessary tasks to comply with existing operational risk frameworks (e.g., SarbanesβOxley Act (SOX), Risk and Control Engine (RACE)).
- Support and contribute to continuous improvement of operational processes, data quality checks, and system functionality.
- Maintain documentation for business processes, functional descriptions, operational runbooks, or other manuals.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience with data vendor feeds (Bloomberg, IDC, Reuters) and display products.
- Deep knowledge of traditional and non-traditional financial instruments and markets, including structured securities like ABS/MBS.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance or engineering.
- 4-5 years of experience solving master and reference data issues based on exception handling.
- 2-3 years of experience applying operational data management and data governance.
- Experience with EDM platforms (4-5 years) and service request systems (e.g., HPALM, Service Now).
