What you will do

• Analyze data and assess data quality to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Compile metadata for data lineage and understand complex data relationships.
• Write effective business-oriented reports using SQL and Python.
• Collaborate using JIRA and Confluence for project tracking and documentation.
• Utilize MS Word and Excel for documentation and reporting tasks.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Toronto, Canada
• Proven experience in data analysis, data quality assessment, and metadata compilation.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, JIRA, Confluence, MS Word, and Excel.
• Analytical, curious, self-starter with result-oriented problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with banking, payments, and financial systems.
• English: B2 level or higher

Nice to have

• Understanding of payment protocols like ACH, SWIFT, Fedwire.
• Experience with vendor systems such as Broadridge/BPSA, TSYS, Fenergo.
• Prior experience in banking sectors like CM, Wealth, Credit Card, Financial Crimes/AML.
• Basic knowledge of Collibra and Ataccama ONE vendor tools.
