Principal Product Manager (AI): Lead the creation and development of AI-powered productivity products within Microsoft Copilot, focusing on transforming cutting-edge LLM capabilities into world-class applications. Location: Onsite in Redmond, United States with expectation to work from a designated Microsoft office at least four days a week if living within 50 miles.

Salary: USD 139,900–331,200 per year depending on location and level.

What you will do

• Create innovative AI products transforming LLM capabilities into productivity applications.
• Define product vision and roadmap for Microsoft Copilot consumer and prosumer products.
• Understand user needs, define requirements, and manage end-to-end product development and launches.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, and data science teams to deliver high-utility features.
• Establish metrics and conduct data-driven evaluations of model responses and user behavior.
• Advocate for cross-platform consistency across desktop, mobile, and web platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years experience in product management or software development or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience managing LLM applications and AI-driven consumer products.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple high-stakes projects across time zones.
• Strong collaboration skills with AI researchers, engineers, and cross-functional teams.
• Working knowledge of SQL and coding skills in Python and JavaScript is a plus.
• Must be located in or willing to work onsite in Redmond, United States.
