Location: UK-based with preference for London; hybrid work with minimum two days in office per week

What you will do

  • Collaborate with product and design leadership to define impactful roadmaps.
  • Build and maintain backend APIs and services enabling automation of complex legal tasks.
  • Develop backend components supporting real-time collaboration between users and AI agents.
  • Provide technical feedback through code reviews and architecture discussions.
  • Support career growth of direct reports through coaching and 1:1 meetings.
  • Participate actively in hiring to grow the engineering team.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the UK with preference for London.
  • Proven success in people leadership within software development for large-scale SaaS products.
  • Strong hands-on software development background.
  • Ability to solve complex technical problems and adapt roadmaps dynamically.
  • Experience hiring and coaching engineering talent.
  • English proficiency at least B2 level.

Nice to have

  • Philosophy on building great software development teams.
  • Experience with CRM products at scale.
  • Experience with Ruby on Rails.
