What you will do

• Design, develop, and test components of the performance calculator using Java, Spring Boot, Hadoop, Spark, and SingleStore.
• Work with distributed databases to compute account performance and optimize application throughput.
• Collaborate with product owners and development teams in an agile environment to deliver business requirements.
• Resolve production issues related to performance data and maintain engineering documentation and test plans.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with security and privacy standards.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to business and technology stakeholders.

Requirements

• Location: Must be onsite in Dallas, Texas, United States
• 1-3 years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with Java or other object-oriented languages and relational databases like SingleStore or Sybase.
• Knowledge of Hadoop, Spark, microservices architecture, API development, CI/CD, Git, and Jira.
• Strong analytical, communication skills, and a sense of ownership.
