What you will do

• Develop, test, and deploy Java applications using Spring Boot
• Write clean, maintainable code following software development principles
• Participate in Agile teams delivering solutions for migrating legacy applications to MongoDB
• Follow and innovate migration playbooks to solve project-specific challenges
• Collaborate with technical leads and project managers, adapting to changing priorities

Requirements

• Must be based in Slovakia or work remotely within Europe
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 4-7 years of Java development experience with strong proficiency
• Experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, SQL, and microservices concepts
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and Git version control
• Basic Python knowledge for scripting and automation

Nice to have

• Experience with performance and memory optimization of Java applications
• Knowledge of ORM tools like Hibernate, Spring Data, or JPA
• Exposure to JavaScript and tools like Postman, IntelliJ IDEA, Maven/Gradle
• Interest in GenAI technologies and advancements
