What you will do

• Identify high-leverage workflows for automation across business functions to maximize impact.
• Build and extend reusable automation workflows connecting internal tools and APIs.
• Leverage native features in third-party tools like Rippling, Salesforce, Slack, and Gitlab to reduce custom development.
• Enable self-serve internal tooling for developers and business users using established patterns.
• Serve as technical owner for cross-functional automation initiatives, ensuring engineering rigor.
• Integrate AI tools to empower non-engineers while maintaining security and compliance.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work remotely within the United States.
• 4+ years experience in automation engineering, systems engineering, or related roles.
• Experience building production-grade automation interacting with APIs and event-driven workflows.
• Ability to design infrastructure-as-code and reusable automation patterns at scale.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills to define success metrics and deliver impactful automation.
• Proven ability to deliver documented, maintainable internal tooling independently.
