What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain the group observability platform ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance
• Drive automation initiatives to enable self-service and unify platform experience
• Collaborate with product teams, SREs, and engineering groups to integrate observability best practices
• Contribute to the observability community by sharing expertise and facilitating workshops
• Lead evolution of observability standards and guidelines with AI capabilities
• Monitor platform health and continuously improve tooling to reduce manual effort and enhance data quality

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related discipline
• Experience in Site Reliability Engineering or Application Engineering focused on observability platforms and automation
• Deep understanding of monitoring and observability tools (New Relic, Dynatrace, Datadog, Grafana)
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks, infrastructure as code (Terraform, Crossplane), CI/CD pipelines, and scripting (Python, Go, JavaScript)
• Fluent English required; knowledge of German is an advantage
• Experience with cloud-native environments and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) is highly desirable
