What you will do

• Design and implement innovative features and enhancements for the WildFly application server, focusing on Security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
• Fine-tune and sustain existing code for optimal performance and stability.
• Guarantee top-notch quality through rigorous testing and debugging, including troubleshooting complex issues.
• Collaborate with fellow developers, designers, and product managers to ensure software aligns with user expectations and industry standards.

Requirements

• Strong background in Java software development, understanding key security concepts: Authentication, Authorization, SSL/TLS, Secure Credential Storage.
• Demonstrated excellence in problem-solving, with the ability to tackle complex issues and find effective solutions.
• Experience with middleware platforms or application server development, particularly in core runtime and security components.
• Experience with cloud-based technologies.
• Ability to work seamlessly as part of a collaborative team.
• A self-starter with a proactive mindset, able to initiate and drive projects independently.

Nice to have

• Experience contributing to open source projects, especially those related to Java EE/Jakarta EE, JBoss / WildFly projects.
