What you will do
- Develop and embed proactive resilience and recovery capabilities across technology systems.
- Build architecture strategies incorporating inputs from business, engineering, operations, and vendors.
- Identify and recommend emerging technologies to enhance enterprise resilience.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to support capability design and delivery.
- Advise senior business stakeholders on resilience and risk levels.
- Assist in establishing operating models to achieve resilience outcomes and assurance.
Requirements
- Location: Must be able to work hybrid with onsite presence in Manchester, Edinburgh, Leeds, or Halifax, UK
- Strong background in resilience architecture and cloud-based composable architectures (microservices, APIs, event streams, CI/CD).
- Experience with AI-Ops, observability, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Knowledge of enterprise infrastructure including storage, backup, and middleware.
- Proven ability to engage with senior stakeholders across organizations.
- Understanding of operational resilience and critical third-party regulation is beneficial.
