What you will do
- Work on a wide range of content, including websites, blogs, guides, newsletters, video, and social media.
- Write compelling, clear, and error-free content.
- Edit and proofread content created by others, contributing to overall quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with the creative team (designers, copywriters, web developers) to ensure brand voice and messaging.
- Translate complex technical information into simple, persuasive, and helpful content.
- Support internal and business communications where needed.
Requirements
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Ability to write in an organization’s brand tone and voice.
- Proven experience writing for technical products or companies in multiple formats.
- Ability to distill complex technical topics into accessible, user-focused copy.
- A strong portfolio of written work.
- Ability to use Git and Github.
- Professional Fluency in English (excellent written and verbal communication skills).
- European Residency: Must be currently based and eligible to work within Europe.
Nice to have
- Experience working with marketing frameworks such as messaging houses and copy matrixes.
- Familiarity with open source culture.
- A native-level English-speaking background.
- A passion for smart homes and automation, and experience as a Home Assistant user.
