Solutions Engineer (Security/Cloud)

TL;DR

Solutions Engineer (Security/Cloud): Partnering with Account Executives to technically close complex opportunities by understanding customer needs, designing solutions, and demonstrating hirify.global's value. Focus on leading technical validations during the Proof of Value phase and articulating the value proposition to various organizational levels.

Location: Remote. Must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and for the duration of employment.

Salary: $114,000 - $133,000 annual base salary.

What you will do

• Partner with Account Executives to understand customer challenges and articulate hirify.global’s value proposition.
• Technically close complex opportunities through advanced competitive knowledge and technical skill.
• Understand and orchestrate all phases of the sales cycle, including leading technical validations during the Proof of Value phase.
• Deliver product and technical demonstrations of the hirify.global service.
• Work cross-functionally with Product Management and Engineering to improve the hirify.global service.

Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years as a Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Implementation Consultant, Support Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or a Software Developer with customer experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of Security related products, technologies, and sources (e.g., IDS/IPS, SIEM/Log Management, Threat Detection).
• Experience selling and working with pure SaaS solutions in multi-tenant architectures.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure.
• Understanding of modern application architecture (micro-services, containers) and experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and/or Lambda.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as business and technical acumen.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and for the duration of employment; nonimmigrant visa sponsorship is not offered.

Nice to have

• M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with open source collections (Telegraf, FluentBit, FluentD, Open Telemetry).
• Experience with leading and running technical validations like Proof of Value.
• Experience with various monitoring tools like Splunk, Datadog, Elastic, New Relic.
• Experience at a successful startup.
