KYC Onboarding Analyst (Fintech): Conduct comprehensive Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for diverse corporate clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Focus on analyzing complex ownership structures, managing onboarding portfolios, and collaborating across teams in a multi-jurisdictional environment.

Location: Hong Kong office with hybrid work pattern (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)

What you will do

  • Perform comprehensive CDD and EDD checks for corporate clients including Trust & Corporate Service Providers, MiFID clients, Funds, and SPVs.
  • Identify financial crime risks such as money laundering, fraud, and sanctions violations, making risk-based onboarding decisions.
  • Maintain direct client contact to communicate onboarding requirements clearly and compliantly.
  • Manage a personal portfolio of onboarding cases efficiently and collaborate with sales and compliance teams.
  • Document client files in compliance with internal standards and support process improvements and training delivery.

Requirements

  • Location: Must be based in Hong Kong
  • Business fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in CDD and EDD with corporate clients in Hong Kong market.
  • Strong knowledge of financial crime typologies and complex entity types including Funds and Limited Partnerships.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team including remote collaboration.
