Location: Hybrid in Sydney, Australia, with an expectation for local hirify.globalns to be in the office a minimum of twice per week. The role will address the needs of hirify.global customers within the APAC region.

Salary: $134,300–$181,700 AUD (exclusive of superannuation)

What you will do

• Solve complex problems and provide elegant solutions for hirify.global customers within APAC.
• Work as a fullstack developer in an agile environment, tackling a variety of software engineering projects.
• Review and provide feedback on code, collaborating with multiple engineering teams across the globe.
• Diagnose, understand, and solve problems, building solutions that may span many areas.
• Participate in hiring and onboarding engineers as the team grows, helping them to succeed.
• Teach and learn from colleagues, providing and taking on constructive feedback to help grow.

Requirements

• Experience in software development, specifically with building web applications at scale using Ruby on Rails.
• Ability to gain fluency in new technologies quickly and work effectively in an ever-evolving environment that includes distributed teams.
• Demonstrated success in mentorship in software development, particularly using an Agile process with large-scale SaaS products.
• A diverse base of knowledge to help the team solve complex technical problems.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to build high-trust relationships.
• Demonstrate a keen interest in improving your craft by using AI.
