TL;DR

Software Engineering MTS (Backend): Develop and maintain backend components for a mission-critical, enterprise SaaS ecommerce observability platform with an accent on cloud infrastructure, telemetry services, and API development. Focus on delivering high-quality, stable software, supporting CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating in a multi-site Agile team environment.

Location: Hybrid in Burlington, Massachusetts, USA with 1 day per week in office

What you will do

• Deliver full life cycle software components for enterprise SaaS web applications
• Support continuous integration, unit testing, and functional automation
• Define sub-component requirements and forecast project effort
• Collaborate in a multi-site, multi-cultural Agile development and testing team
• Evangelize Scrum and Agile development processes
• Mentor and be mentored within the team

Requirements

• Location: Must be able to work hybrid with presence in Burlington, Massachusetts, USA
• 2+ years backend development experience with Java, Golang, and/or Python
• Experience deploying production code on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Production experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD tools (Spinnaker, Jenkins, ArgoCD)
• Strong database skills with SQL and NoSQL
• Familiarity with Scrum and Agile development
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Nice to have

• Experience designing observability solutions for distributed systems
• Experience troubleshooting full service stack with end-to-end ownership
• Experience with Spring Framework
