Salary: $110,520.00 - $179,640.00

What you will do

• Design and develop backend RESTful API web services using Microservices architecture.
• Oversee and mentor other developers, handling code reviews and providing technical leadership.
• Drive application development focused on delivering valuable business features.
• Maintain high standards of software quality by establishing good practices.
• Guide the team to develop structured application/interface code and documentation.
• Lead development of new functionality and applications on cross-functional Agile project teams.

Requirements

• Knowledge of software development tools and activities.
• Knowledge of software product design/architecture.
• Ability to accurately analyze situations and make productive decisions.
• Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques.
• Experience in Java 17 or higher and SpringBoot RESTful API development.
• Experience deploying and maintaining software using public clouds such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience with message streaming solutions like AWS Kinesis, SQS, SNS, or Apache Kafka.
• Experience with datastores such as AWS Aurora, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or MongoDB.
• Experience deploying software using CI/CD tools like Azure Devops, Jenkins, or GoCD.
• Working within an Agile framework, ideally Scrum.
• Must be based in Chicago, IL.
