TL;DR

Senior Account Executive (AI): Driving revenue growth and adoption of customer experience solutions for the State & Local Government market with an accent on sales methodology, forecasting, and demand generation. Focus on building strategic partnerships, managing complex contract negotiations, and positioning AI-powered digital portfolios.

Location: Remote from Kentucky, Tennessee, or Arkansas, United States, with the ability to travel at least 25% as needed.

Salary: $103,100.00 - $191,500.00

What you will do

  • Drive revenue, market share, and exceed new pipeline targets for the State & Local Government market.
  • Lead and manage active sales opportunities using the hirify.global Way of Selling (MEDDPICC) methodology.
  • Build and maintain Territory Plans, developing a robust sales pipeline by engaging with prospects, partners, and key customers.
  • Collaborate strategically with hirify.global Partners and internal teams (BDRs, Marketing, Channel) to support regional revenue growth.
  • Present compelling business value propositions and understand customer technical requirements to inform product direction.
  • Manage complex contract negotiations with internal legal and finance teams, and accelerate customer adoption with Customer Success Managers.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of field enterprise sales or business development experience focused on State & Local Government AI, enterprise software, or cloud computing services.
  • Understanding and experience with State & Local Government procurement and funding processes.
  • Proficiency with enterprise platforms including Salesforce (CRM), Clari, Zoom, ZoomInfo, DocuSign, Workday, and Tableau.
  • Demonstrated proficiency and adoption of MEDDPICC, Account Strategy Mapping, and Opportunity Plans.
  • Must be based in the United States, specifically in the Kentucky, Tennessee, or Arkansas region, with the ability to travel at least 25%.

Nice to have

  • Technical sales and solutions background in customer experience, CCaaS, UCaaS, APIs, AI, telecom, or cybersecurity.
  • Demonstrated history of consistently exceeding sales quota.
  • Experience selling to a variety of public sector agencies.
  • Documented industry and customer network.
