What you will do

  • Design and deliver scalable, secure, and resilient solution architectures for telephony and digital channels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, quality, and security engineers.
  • Lead the transition to cloud-native microservice applications and DevOps methodologies.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in telephony strategy and integration.
  • Mentor and coach team members and invest in personal development.

Requirements

  • Location: Hybrid with minimum 40% time in Manchester office, UK
  • Expertise in systems thinking, architecture design, and cloud platforms.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Deep technical proficiency including cybersecurity and AI technologies.
  • Experience in financial services technology and business acumen.
  • Ability to embed security and compliance in architecture and development.

Nice to have

  • Experience with DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), automation, and CI/CD.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance practices.
  • Experience with workforce management software and containerization.
