What you will do
- Research and design detailed audio systems for commentary, SFX, and other audio components.
- Lead a team of Software Engineers and Sound Designers on the audio vision, providing feedback and driving quality.
- Support script creation and direct voice recordings for commentators and announcers.
- Foster strong relationships with other teams, manage audio dependencies, and ensure alignment.
- Work with Production partners to prioritize, track, and plan audio tasks in Jira.
- Stay current on sports and video game audio trends, analyzing competitor designs.
Requirements
- A huge passion for sports and sports video games.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with development teams and voice talents.
- Attention to detail, positive, proactive attitude, and open to feedback.
- English: Native or near-native proficiency required.
Nice to have
- Experience shipping sports video games.
- Proven experience writing design documents, scripts, and directing voice talent.
- Familiarity with programming or QA workflows and Jira.
- Exposure to Wwise or FMOD (role is primarily out of engine).
