What you will do

• Manage a small technical team including performance reviews and development planning.
• Direct all development activities for Perc products including bug fixes, enhancements, and releases.
• Maintain internal R&D infrastructure such as source code management, bug tracking, and build systems.
• Engage with defense industry organizations and collaborate with aerospace and defense teams.
• Define and manage product strategy, roadmaps, and release schedules.
• Support customer and pre-sales activities including demos, technical questions, and industry events.

Requirements

• Must have at least 10 years of professional software development experience in defense-related solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
• Strong skills in Java and C programming, Linux system administration, and embedded real-time systems.
• Experience with development tools for military defense applications and managing technical teams.
• Location requirement: Must be based in the United States or able to work remotely within the US.

Nice to have

• Experience with C++, LLVM compiler, concurrency algorithms, and ARM/x86 architectures.
• Familiarity with Docker, Bash, Perl, GNU Make, Apache Ant, Subversion, and Adobe FrameMaker.
