What you will do

• Manage a small technical team while remaining hands-on in product development.
• Direct end-to-end development activities including releases, bug fixes, and feature enhancements.
• Oversee internal R&D infrastructure including source control, build systems, and Docker containers.
• Collaborate with defense industry partners and internal sales teams to drive product strategy and business growth.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through technical support and specialized guidance.
• Provide pre-sales support via technical demonstrations and expertise on real-time embedded system standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of professional software development experience in defense-related solutions.
• Strong expertise in Java and C++.
• Proficiency in Linux system programming (RedHat, Rocky Linux, Ubuntu).
• Experience with embedded systems, real-time scheduling, and concurrency algorithms.
• Must be based in the USA.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in a relevant technical field.
• Deep knowledge of LLVM, x86, and ARM architectures.
• Familiarity with Perl, Bash, and GNU Make.
