What you will do

• Design and implement backend services and scripting applications using Ruby and Java.
• Develop and maintain CLI tools and automation scripts (STDIN/OUT handling).
• Ensure system observability and performance monitoring using Prometheus and Grafana.
• Work on XML data manipulation and integration tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
• Troubleshoot and optimize concurrency issues and contribute to containerization using Docker/Podman and GCP environments.

Requirements

• 5+ years in software development.
• 3+ years working with Ruby (or Rails).
• 2+ years working with Java.
• Strong experience with scripting applications (CLI, STDIN/OUT).
• Hands-on experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Experience with XML manipulation.
• Familiarity with concurrency (Ruby threads and processes).
• Experience with Docker/Podman and GCP (VM instances).
• English: B2 required.

Nice to have

• Experience with port mapping (Nmap) and low-level protocols (ICMP, TCP, etc.).
