What you will do

• Design and implement backend services and scripting applications using Ruby and Java.
• Develop and maintain CLI tools and automation scripts handling STDIN/OUT.
• Ensure system observability and performance monitoring using Prometheus and Grafana.
• Work on XML data manipulation and integration tasks.
• Troubleshoot and optimize concurrency issues involving threads and processes.
• Contribute to containerization and deployment using Docker/Podman and GCP environments.

Requirements

• Must be located in Bengaluru, India.
• 5+ years in software development with 3+ years in Ruby and 2+ years in Java.
• Strong experience with scripting applications and CLI tools.
• Hands-on experience with observability tools Prometheus and Grafana.
• Experience with XML manipulation and concurrency in Ruby.
• Familiarity with Docker/Podman and GCP VM instances.

Nice to have

• Experience with port mapping (Nmap) and low-level protocols (ICMP, TCP).
• Additional concurrency experience in Ruby threads and processes.
• Further experience with Docker/Podman and GCP.
