Backend Engineer

What you will do

• Develop and optimize backend APIs and services using Go, Python, and related technologies.
• Collaborate with AI engineering teams to integrate machine learning models into backend systems.
• Design and maintain scalable distributed systems, data pipelines, and microservices.
• Ensure code quality through Test-Driven Development and CI/CD automation.
• Work in an Agile environment using tools like JIRA and Git.
• Adapt to continuous change in a growing company environment.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or near Athens, Greece for hybrid work.
• Proven backend development experience with Go, Java/C#, Ruby, or Node.js.
• Experience with scalable APIs, distributed systems, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, asynchronous processing, REST/gRPC.
• Strong collaboration skills and experience working with AI/ML teams.
• English language proficiency; recruitment process conducted in English.
