What you will do

• Own key architectural decisions and ensure alignment with hirify.global’s tech vision.
• Translate long-term architecture strategy into practical designs that squads can execute.
• Contribute hands-on to complex technical components, refactors, and mission-critical projects.
• Coach Senior Engineers and elevate their architectural thinking, promoting best engineering practices.
• Partner with Product, Data, and Platform leaders to build coherent solutions.
• Explore technologies like AI integration and push prototypes to create leverage.

Requirements

• 8+ years of engineering experience, including 2+ years in Staff+, Tech Lead, or equivalent senior IC roles.
• Proven ability to design, evolve, and scale complex distributed systems.
• Experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, and domain modeling.
• Strong hands-on proficiency in PHP or Golang.
• Demonstrated influence across multiple teams without formal authority.
• Excellent communication skills, able to simplify and explain architecture to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Comfortable working in English.
• Must have a full remote contract in Spain.
