API Product Manager (API): Leading the public API program and improving the APIs developers use to connect with the platform, with an accent on designing well-documented and easy-to-use APIs and understanding client needs. Location: Remote globally or onsite in Riga, Latvia

What you will do

  • Lead and improve the public API program.
  • Ensure APIs are well-designed, documented, and easy for developers to work with.
  • Work with important clients to understand their needs and ensure APIs meet them.
  • Drive API adoption by enhancing documentation and engaging the developer community.
  • Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and sales teams on new API features and awareness.

Requirements

  • Good understanding of how APIs work, with prior experience as a developer or in a product role being helpful.
  • Ability to use APIs to understand the developer experience.
  • Experience working with large organizations, understanding their API needs and priorities.
  • Strong business skills to identify new opportunities and develop plans for the API program's growth.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Genuine interest in APIs and working with developer communities.
  • Strategic thinking to align the API program with the company's overall strategy.
  • English: B2 required
