What you will do
- Lead FinOps initiatives to implement cost management and financial accountability frameworks.
- Build and enhance the Internal Developer Platform (Backstage) to improve developer experience.
- Engineer and provision infrastructure including deployment platforms, monitoring, and security tools.
- Automate, test, and deploy scalable solutions to streamline processes.
- Innovate by implementing and deploying AI agents for specialized tasks.
- Conduct R&D on emerging technologies to evolve the platform continuously.
Requirements
- Must be located in or able to work hybrid in Barcelona, Spain.
- 5+ years of DevOps or Platform Engineering experience with complex systems.
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform, Terraform, GitOps tools (ArgoCD, Flux), and automation.
- Proficient in Python or Go programming languages.
- Experience with FinOps methodologies and strategic cost-benefit analysis.
- English proficiency at least B2 level.
Nice to have
- Experience with applied AI tools like GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT.
- Curiosity and eagerness to experiment with AI-driven solutions.
- Ability to leverage AI for debugging and productivity enhancement.
