B2B DevOps Engineer II (DevOps)

TL;DR

B2B DevOps Engineer II (DevOps): Responsible for automating and developing backend infrastructure for the hirify.global Cloud, which manages Apple devices for customers, and providing internal infrastructure for software development. Focus on applying automation, ensuring security best practices in system designs, and scaling Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery environments.

Location: Remote: Must be based in Poland. Applicants must have sponsorship to live and work in Poland.

What you will do

• Develop, deploy, and maintain production environments using automation tools like Infrastructure as Code and Containerization.
• Ensure security best practices are integrated into system designs and configurations.
• Assist in evaluating, planning, and implementing new software services.
• Develop custom tools and automation using programming and scripting.
• Support Software Development by maintaining and scaling the Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery environment.
• Apply Data Lifecycle Management to sensitive data through backups, permissions, and auditing.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of CI/CD tools and techniques (e.g., Github Actions, ArgoCD, Argo Workflows).
• Proven experience working within the Kubernetes environment, either designing/operating the platform or managing workloads on it.
• Experience with public cloud providers, ideally AWS.
• Solid understanding of modern Observability ecosystems, including monitoring, logging, and tracing (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, AWS Opensearch).

Nice to have

• Experience in a systems administration or SRE role focused on performance analysis, capacity planning, and resiliency.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio).
• Knowledge of Go programming language.
• Experience with compliance and security frameworks in cloud environments.
