What you will do

• Tackle largest and most complex problems from design to launch in search and ML systems.
• Develop and deploy ranking models to improve user experience and business outcomes.
• Architect and optimize data infrastructure for large-scale search and experimentation data.
• Lead code reviews, documentation, and complex bug fixes on high-risk issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Must have 10+ years of software/technology leadership experience with end-to-end SDLC responsibility.
• Experience with ML workflows and observability at scale.
• Proven track record of leading AI/ML products from conception to launch.
• Expertise in Java, Python, Kotlin, Go, or TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Bachelor/Master/PhD in Computer Science preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with OpenSearch, Elasticsearch, or other search technologies.
• Experience in Developer Experience or Productivity.
• Experience in online and offline experimentation.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• 2+ years running search systems at scale.
