What you will do

• Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team of 10-15 controls and hardware engineers.
• Drive standardization, modularization, and continuous improvement of global processes and ways of working.
• Ensure optimal execution of projects within objectives, timelines, and budgets.
• Manage the scope and timeline of functionalities delivered from internal and external stakeholders.
• Coach, motivate, challenge, and set goals for individual team members, including hiring and developing skills.
• Develop and execute a clear strategy, vision, and long-term technical roadmap for the department.

Requirements

• Excellent English skills, both written and verbal.
• Bachelor, Master or PhD degree in Software, Mechatronics, Electronics or related field.
• +3 years of experience as a team manager, lead, or coordinator, preferably in an R&D environment.
• Strong technical knowledge in PLC software and electrical engineering.
• Strong leadership, management, and analytical skills for complex problems.
• Experience working in multicultural and multidisciplinary organizations.

Nice to have

• Experience with agile/scrum project execution and associated tools (Jira, GitLab or similar).
• Working experience within the food domain, preferably the poultry industry.
• Skilled in Dutch.
