What you will do

• Design, develop, and implement automation workflows for Cisco ISE configuration and policy management
• Build and maintain Python automation scripts and Ansible playbooks aligned with security requirements
• Develop secure API integrations using RESTful and SOAP protocols with authentication mechanisms
• Use API testing tools like Postman and Swagger to validate automation solutions
• Integrate automation with external platforms such as HashiCorp Vault for secrets management
• Document automation architecture and troubleshoot to optimize performance and reliability

Requirements

• Must work onsite 3 days per week in Charlotte or Raleigh, NC, USA
• Strong experience with network infrastructure as code and advanced Python skills
• Proven experience building Ansible playbooks and creating technical documentation
• Ability to work independently and handle complex, evolving requirements

Nice to have

• Experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
• Background in network engineering or network security
