TL;DR

Member of Technical Staff (Health AI): Designing and delivering cutting-edge LLM solutions in healthcare across the full AI modelling stack with an accent on prompt design, pre- and post-training, inference, evaluation, and deployment. Focus on translating frontier AI research into transformative products and solving complex challenges in a safety-critical health space.

Location: Hybrid in London, United Kingdom. Employees are expected to work from a designated Microsoft office at least four days a week if they live within 25 miles of that location.

What you will do

• Work across the full AI modelling stack, including prompt design, pre- and post-training, inference, evaluation, LM systems design, and deployment.
• Deliver LLM solutions in healthcare by working across research and engineering boundaries.
• Design and validate hypotheses across a cutting-edge language modelling stack.
• Play a major role in cultivating a positive team culture within a lean founding team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, OR equivalent experience.
• Technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Demonstrated full-stack experience in large-scale AI, with empirical evidence from top-tier publications, open-source contributions, and/or on-the-job work.
• Deep expertise in one or more parts of the AI stack, including prompt engineering, pre-training, fine-tuning, reinforcement learning, data curation, LLM inference, orchestration, evaluation pipelines, and deployment.
• Ability to work in London with a hybrid office presence.
