Salary: $110,000 - $135,000 per year

What you will do

• Own end-to-end architecture including service boundaries, data models, API design, and non-functional requirements.
• Lead design and implementation of Java/Spring Boot backend and React frontend applications.
• Define and enforce technical standards, best practices, and secure-by-design principles.
• Drive system integration strategies and optimize performance across the stack.
• Mentor engineers and lead technical planning, design reviews, and phased delivery.
• Oversee CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and maintain high-quality documentation.

Requirements

• Must have 8–12+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and React for building secure, scalable applications.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), containers, and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of software security fundamentals and implementation (OAuth2, JWT, Spring Security).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to influence strategy and collaborate across teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with microservices, event-driven architecture, and API-first design.
• Knowledge of domain-driven design, clean/hexagonal architecture, and advanced design patterns.
• Familiarity with observability tools and performance tuning.
• Experience modernizing legacy systems and governance of engineering standards.
