What you will do

• Design and deploy security architecture across cloud environments, IAM, secrets management, endpoints, networking, and monitoring.
• Embed secure development practices into engineering workflows and influence CI/CD design.
• Lead compliance efforts from zero to SOC 2 Type II readiness and prepare for additional frameworks like ISO 27001 or NIST.
• Represent security externally with financial institutions, auditors, and partners, leading diligence and security discussions.
• Own internal IT and identity security processes including onboarding/offboarding, access models, and SaaS governance.
• Define long-term security posture and risk management philosophy in collaboration with senior leadership.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US with preference for major tech or financial hubs.
• Senior hands-on security leader with deep experience securing cloud-based systems for enterprise or regulated customers.
• Proven track record leading end-to-end security programs and delivering compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
• Strong communication skills to explain complex security concepts to non-security stakeholders and clients.
• Experience with cryptographic systems, key management, signing flows, and on-chain security risks.
• Comfortable with hands-on implementation and strategic leadership of security functions.
