What you will do

• Act as the voice of audio content creators, communicating feedback to engineering teams.
• Validate development of new audio tools and workflows using your experience.
• Build compelling audio examples to demonstrate engine capabilities.
• Write documentation and create training materials.
• Advise game teams on audio solutions and best practices.
• Support migration of game content to new audio features and technologies.
• Mentor hirify.global Audio community members including Technical Artists and Quality Designers.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Vancouver or able to work hybrid three days a week
• 5+ years experience in game sound implementation using Unreal, Unity, FMOD, Wwise, or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of industry-standard audio tools like Pro-Tools and Ableton Live.
• Industry experience in game sound design including mixing, implementation, and asset creation.
• Shipped 2+ games.

Nice to have

• Experience with recording sessions for music, voice, and sound effects.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as LUA or Python.
• Experience with node-based visual programming (Max/Msp, Pd).
• Shipped a AAA title.
• Experience with Atlassian Confluence, Jira Software, or similar tools.
