hirify.global Sports Lab is a new studio founded in 2023, focused on pushing game development boundaries to create groundbreaking sports franchises, located in Vancouver, BC.

What you will do

  • Architect & Lead: Guide design and implementation of scalable, high-quality UI features.
  • Set the Standard: Define best practices for UMG and Blueprint usage.
  • Be the Authority: Solve complex performance issues on console and PC hardware.
  • Elevate the Team: Mentor intermediate and junior engineers.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with designers and artists to improve workflows.
  • Own the Code: Produce clean, efficient, well-documented code and conduct code reviews.

Requirements

  • Location: Must be onsite in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience with 5+ years in UI development.
  • Proficiency in C++ and Unreal Engine (UMG, Blueprints, editor workflows).
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and 3D math.
  • Ability to write clean, well-documented code and communicate technical concepts to non-technical partners.
  • Experience or understanding of client-server architecture and multithreaded programming is a plus.
