What you will do

• Own architecture and technical direction for applications and services including API design and data modeling.
• Design, build, and optimize performant software components ensuring code quality and operational readiness.
• Drive platform scalability, resilience, and observability.
• Lead technical planning, backlog grooming, and design reviews; mentor engineers and conduct code reviews.
• Champion modern development practices including CI/CD, DevSecOps, and automated testing.
• Collaborate with product, UX, security, and operations teams to align technical solutions with business goals.

Requirements

• Must have 5–8+ years of professional software engineering experience including leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience with backend languages and frameworks such as Java/Spring Boot, .NET Core, Node.js/NestJS.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and performance optimization.
• Strong knowledge of software security fundamentals including OWASP Top 10, OAuth2/JWT, and secrets management.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containers (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts.

Nice to have

• Experience with microservices, event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and API-first design.
• Knowledge of distributed systems patterns and caching (Redis).
• Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry, Jaeger.
• Background in regulated or high-security environments and compliance frameworks.
• Contributions to engineering standards and developer experience initiatives.
