What you will do

• Drive technical vision and architecture decisions including transition to microservices-oriented platform.
• Lead, mentor, and grow engineering teams fostering collaboration and autonomy.
• Ensure timely and quality project delivery working with Product, Design, and Engineering Leads.
• Introduce best practices in software development, QA, and CI/CD to boost productivity.
• Act as a communication bridge between engineering and other departments.
• Balance feature development with infrastructure improvements and reduce technical debt.

Requirements

• Must have 5+ years engineering leadership experience in SaaS environment.
• Strong knowledge of modern web technologies and architecture transitions (monolith to microservices).
• Experience with frontend frameworks (React) and backend services (Node.js, Python).
• Metrics-driven mindset using productivity metrics like DORA.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate cross-functionally.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment with strong ownership.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with micro-frontend platforms.
• Knowledge of photography industry workflows or B2B SaaS experience.
