What you will do

• Design and engineer large-scale payment systems covering frontend and backend components.
• Own end-to-end delivery with a strong DevOps mindset: you build it, you run it.
• Collaborate cross-functionally in autonomous squads and mentor colleagues.
• Leverage GenerativeAI tools to improve productivity and decision-making.
• Ensure secure payment processing including fraud detection and AML compliance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, testing, and cloud-native development practices.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or near London with hybrid work flexibility.
• English: Proficient English required (job posting in English).
• 5+ years experience designing and engineering large-scale systems.
• Strong technical skills in Python, TypeScript, React, AWS/GCP, and related technologies.
• Experience or knowledge of transaction monitoring, financial crime prevention, AML, and fraud detection is a plus.
