What you will do

  • Prototype and validate user experiences rapidly using Figma and AI-assisted tools.
  • Translate high-fidelity designs into functional frontend code for web and mobile products.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and product managers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Define and champion best practices for the design engineer role and design-to-code workflows.
  • Mentor team members and contribute to growing design engineering capabilities.
  • Continuously explore new tools and techniques in AI-assisted design and development.

Requirements

  • Location: Hybrid work based in London, UK
  • English: B2 level or higher
  • Portfolio demonstrating responsive web and/or native mobile app design and frontend development.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and frontend testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library).
  • Experience with design systems, accessibility, and inclusive design principles.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in ambiguous, creative environments.

Nice to have

  • Experience with end-to-end testing tools like Playwright or Cypress.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted design-to-code tools such as GitHub Copilot and Figma Dev Mode MCP.
