What you will do
- Lead global media planning for MGM theatrical and digital releases, defining audience architecture and channel roles.
- Translate strategy into actionable, modular frameworks adopted by diverse markets.
- Ensure alignment and quality across markets through planning standards, templates, and reviews.
- Collaborate closely with strategy, activation, operations, and client teams to ensure seamless campaign execution.
- Lead and develop a global planning team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Drive innovation by introducing new planning methodologies and embedding best practices.
Requirements
- Must be based in or have the right to work in the United Kingdom.
- Significant global or multi-market media planning experience, ideally in theatrical or high-velocity categories.
- Deep expertise in channel strategy across digital, AV, social, programmatic, OOH, and partnerships.
- Proven ability to lead planning across multiple markets and timelines simultaneously.
- Experience managing and developing planning teams with strong operational skills.
- Comfort working within structured workflows and cross-functional collaboration.
Nice to have
- Experience with studios, distributors, entertainment franchises, or global content pipelines.
- Familiarity with Amazon’s leadership principles and narrative-first culture.
- Experience developing global toolkits or planning playbooks.
- Exposure to WPP Open data environments or advanced planning tools.
