What you will do

• Drive innovation in AI-powered ranking and bidding systems for digital advertising.
• Lead creation of advanced models to redefine auction dynamics and maximize advertiser ROI.
• Elevate advertising intelligence capabilities and set new industry benchmarks.
• Design and deploy large-scale AI systems delivering multi-million-euro business outcomes.
• Define and drive technical strategy for Data Science and ML across multiple teams.
• Mentor senior engineers and build alignment across engineering, product, and data organizations.

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid work with presence in Berlin campus 2 days a week
• English: B2 level or higher
• Expertise in ranking models, personalization, and multi-objective optimization under uncertainty.
• Strong knowledge of AI frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Deep understanding of ad auctions, programmatic advertising, and economic modeling.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, and data workflow design.

Nice to have

• Expertise in auction design and dynamic pricing models.
• Experience with reinforcement learning or causal inference applied to business problems.
• Knowledge of A/B testing methodologies and large-scale recommendation or forecasting systems.
