Location: Must be based in the United Kingdom with hybrid working options available.

What you will do

  • Architect and own the end-to-end compliance and financial crime framework for digital lending products including Embedded Pay Later and Invoice Finance.
  • Design and implement risk-based approaches to customer due diligence, sanctions screening, and transaction monitoring.
  • Act as the primary compliance advisor for product teams, guiding regulatory requirements and risk mitigation.
  • Oversee daily compliance operations ensuring adherence to regulatory and banking group standards.
  • Conduct product-specific compliance risk assessments and lead remediation initiatives.
  • Manage compliance monitoring programs and maintain audit-ready documentation.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United Kingdom.
  • Proven experience in compliance roles within fintech or digital lending.
  • Deep knowledge of UK regulatory landscape and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to translate regulations into actionable business requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders from engineers to board level.
  • Registered as an MLR individual and senior manager responsible for compliance under Regulation 21(1)(a).
