What you will do

• Create usable and accessible content for products, services, and websites.
• Solve problems in multi-disciplinary teams using Agile methodologies.
• Design products, services and websites that meet identified user needs.
• Understand user needs by analysing user research findings and analytics data.
• Champion inclusive approaches and styles within content design.
• Establish and manage relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience as a mid-level content designer.
• Practical experience and knowledge of Agile practices.
• Strong writing skills with the ability to refer to and contribute to style guides.
• Good understanding of the user research process and how to contribute.
• Experience of designing accessible, inclusive content (WCAG 2.2 guidelines).
• Must be based in the UK.

Nice to have

• Knowledge and understanding of GDS guidelines and service standards.
• Experience of using a content management system.
• Good consultancy skills, including managing stakeholders and guiding colleagues.
